Dear Tamara, It is unlikely that your pain will cause blindness. I would suggest having your physician do a Sed rate to rule out Temporal Arteritis that can cause blindness if not treated. It is likely you have a TMD disorder with referred myofascial pain and irritation of the Trigeminal nerves. A diagnostic neuromuscular orthotic may quickly let pain disperse.
